Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00
Band: 6
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £26.50 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a key role in delivering specialist mental health care within a community setting, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs through a recovery-focused approach.

  • Undertake specialist mental health assessments and identify appropriate treatment goals
  • Manage and, where appropriate, care coordinate a defined caseload within the community
  • Deliver evidence-based, client-centred interventions
  • Promote recovery, hope, and social inclusion in all aspects of care
  • Support relapse prevention and health promotion strategies
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with best practice and professional standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNMH)
  • Experience managing caseloads within a community mental health setting
  • Strong understanding of recovery-focused and person-centred approaches
  • Ability to work with individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Excellent risk assessment and care planning skills
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary working ability

Working Hours & Contract Duration
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, on an ongoing basis.
