We are supporting a community mental health service in Brent that needs an experienced clinician to join the team as soon as possible. This is an ongoing contract within a busy adult CMHT, suited to someone confident with complex caseloads, clinical coordination and supporting service users with severe and enduring mental health needs.

• Job Title: Senior CMHT Practitioner
• Location: Brent, London
• Duration: Ongoing contract
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £27 per hour

The role will involve:

• Supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties within a CMHT setting
• Coordinating day-to-day clinical activity and helping manage clinical priorities across the team
• Completing assessments, risk assessments, care planning and regular case reviews
• Supporting referral meetings, safe discharges and effective caseload flow
• Providing clinical advice, supervision and support to colleagues within the multidisciplinary team
• Working closely with the Team Manager, care coordinators, consultants, carers and external agencies

Requirements:

• Relevant professional registration, such as NMC or HCPC
• Previous experience within adult community mental health services
• Confidence managing complex presentations, risk and care coordination duties
• Good understanding of CPA, safeguarding, record keeping and MDT working
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and support wider team development
• Strong communication skills with service users, carers and partner agencies

Working pattern:

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, working 9:00am to 5:00pm within an adult CMHT. The service requires someone who can start quickly and support clinical decision making, team coordination and the safe management of complex community cases.
