Locum Band 5 CAMHS Inpatient (Nights) – Manchester

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established CAMHS Inpatient Unit based in Manchester, who are looking for experienced Band 5 RMNs to join their team on an ongoing agency basis.

Role: Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (CAMHS Inpatient)
Pay Rate: £21ph Weekdays | £26ph Saturdays & Nights | £31ph Sundays & Bank Holidays
? Location:  Manchester
? Hours: Days & Nights Available
Day Shifts:

• Early: 7:00am – 3:00pm
• Late: 1:00pm – 9:00pm
• Long Day: 7:00am – 7:15pm

Night Shifts:

• 7:00pm – 7:15am

? Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

? Main Duties:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people within a specialist CAMHS inpatient setting.
• Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and contribute to person-centred care planning.
• Assess and manage clinical risk, responding effectively to incidents and behavioural presentations.
• Administer and monitor medication in line with Trust policies and NMC standards.
• Support children, young people and their families throughout admission and recovery.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions and positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes.
• Provide support and guidance to junior staff and student nurses where appropriate.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
• Previous CAMHS or Child & Adolescent Mental Health experience.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Strong assessment, risk management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient environment.
