The role will involve
• Managing a caseload of adults receiving support from community mental health services
• Completing statutory social work assessments, reviews and care planning
• Undertaking risk assessments and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting service users with complex mental health and social care needs
• Coordinating with families, housing providers and other community services
• Maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date case documentation
Vacancies include opportunities within an Early Intervention in Psychosis service, supporting people experiencing a first episode of psychosis, and a Rehabilitation Team, working with service users living in 24-hour supported provision both within and outside Enfield.
What you’ll need
• Current Social Work England registration
• Previous experience working within adult mental health services
• Good knowledge of relevant social care legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Strong assessment, care planning and risk management skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary mental health teams
• EIS, psychosis or rehabilitation experience would be particularly relevant for specific vacancies
Working pattern
These are fully site-based positions working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Locations across the service include Crown Lane, Park Avenue and Lucas House in Enfield, with the exact base dependent on the team.
