Job Title: Community Stroke Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
Location: North East London
Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Stroke Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join a community-based service in North East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to adults presenting with stroke and a range of neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will provide effective physiotherapy assessment and short-term treatment/management programmes, working autonomously to manage a complex caseload within the community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for stroke and neurological patients

  • Manage a complex caseload independently as an autonomous practitioner

  • Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes

  • Participate in complex clinical discussion meetings and MDT working

  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly

  • Support discharge planning and community reintegration

  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist

  • Specialist knowledge and experience in stroke and neuro rehabilitation

  • Experience managing complex caseloads independently

  • Understanding of SSNAP audits

  • Strong IT skills for data collection and input

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
